Description
As the season transitions north even further, we capitalize on the Northern Plains areas from beautiful Wyoming and eastern Montana into the Dakota’s where the storms are fierce and the views from the heart of America are astounding. Before these weather systems make their way across the Canadian border later on for their summertime severe season, they have one final stand raining down some of the biggest hail stones known to man like the world record set in Vivian South Dakota in July of 2010. It takes big storms to make hail like that, and with some of these monster storms rocketing to twice the height of the cruising altitude of commercial airliners, you can be assured that your chances for seeing tornadoes is a strong possibility. We also venture into some of the most amazing attractions in the United States, visiting Mt Rushmore, Wall Drug and the famous Badlands of South Dakota. A trip to Deadwood and Sturgis is likely when we aren’t out chasing some of the most prolific isolated supercells on the planet.
