Always a popular choice, Tour 2 is scheduled at the end of April going into May as we transition towards the peak of the severe weather season in Tornado Alley. This time of year is conducive to areas you are probably familiar with if you follow storm chasing as we spend the majority of our time on the flat, gridded back roads that crisscross the southern plains. The end of April going into May has been home to some of the most incredible tornado outbreaks of all time, so your chances of seeing a tornado on this tour are as good as any at a slightly better value than our other 8-day tours. Another bonus is that it keeps us close to our favorite activities including the Twister Museum in Wakita, Oklahoma for those rare moments that we aren’t storm chasing.
